I Hear You

I hear you.
I hear your voice on the edge of the wind,
whispering long, slow words of love.
Phrases of passion, fluttering like leaves
disturbed by a passing breath

I hear you.
I monitor the words you speak to my heart,
syllables of the dreams, lust and desires,
that will one day be ours to share.

I hear you.
I listen to you talking of our bodies entwined
your skin shivering at the thought of my touch
at the thought of our two, becoming one entity.

I hear you.
I eavesdrop on the visions of a thousand fantasies
described in millions of minute, colourful details,
every scent, touch and taste seen through your eyes
.

I hear you.
I receive your sweet, seductive sentences
your perfectly described images of Utopia
an unending life of pleasurable perfection.

I hear you.
I hear you call.
I hear your love.
I hear your heart.

….but I am still unable to answer you.
