Something Nefarious

Anger repressed so long
“Let go” You said with ease
But I know it can all go oh so wrong.

I stared into my crazed reflection
“Maybe it’s not a bad idea”
Besides I’m shattered beyond perfection.

My inner malevolence grins
“Tonight we shall rise”
And flee into the world of undefined sins.

Yet the softer side came to play
“Please reconsider your actions”
The world is rotten… I shall no longer stay.

Might as well exit with prime
“Farewell innocence… I thank you”
That was her cue… Her last and final crime.
