Humans, How I Hate You

I think I might be driven to becoming a sinner
Because my tolerance for you people grows exponentially thinner
You treat every interaction like a game with a winner
When in the end, we're all just some maggots dinner

Look at the inner workings of man
You might realize you're not such a fan
And that the true motivations of people are as dark as obsidian
But there is a constant in this world, one thing that is certain
That for all of us, there will one day be a closing of life's ending curtain

Just know that you're all one big thorn in my side
It baffles me how you even have any pride
You just push anything that opposes your world view aside
This is a generalization to which I also abide
But my lucid world view is something I cherish, not elide
Against intelligence you commit daily homicide
Even though your methods are each individually snide

If you don't believe me, just look around
Intelligence has been brutally and mercilessly drowned
By stupidity's unmistakable and constant droning sound
Until a desolate wasteland full of human ignorance is all that will be found
And the free thinkers and people with any semblance of individuality are buried in the ground

We are all expendable, remember that
Are attempts at being remembered will always fall flat
Because what's one more person who we only remember for negatives like being stupid or fat
Now maybe everyone doesn't think quite like that
And I'm probably being a bit of a brat
But I have as much faith in humanity as I would in a mentally handicapped rat
