darkness always wins

i can't do this anymore
you find the light
and you have it for awhile
in the end though darkness always wins
life isn't strong to handle what's inside of me
death conquers my soul
my soul is so damaged that it has begun to fade again
my heart is no longer a red, healthy, beating heart
my heart has turned to black
and beats no more
but it hangs by a thread
my body is still
it feels no pain
its pale and cold
the bones are at ease
and longer move
its as if im paralyzed
my mind is blank
no thoughts go in or out
it does not function
i no longer function
darkness has filled me up
and is slowly taking back its control over me
light no longer has a purpose in my life
i enjoyed the light
and the short time darkness left
now i must learn to enjoy the darkness
this life is a lie
and has no purpose for me no longer
now i must go and enter through the gates of hell
back to my old home
