Nocturnal Spark
Nocturnal Spark
While humanity lies in bed,
I can’t seem to fall asleep;
I’d much prefer looking
Out the window instead.
The real view isn’t pretty
But if I look beyond the concrete
My whimsical mind can turn quite witty.
Clouds brushed by moonlight,
Underneath countless fields of
Untamed nature
Oh my what phenomenal a sight.
Barefoot and careless,
I embark to an imaginary journey,
Far away from the daytime stress.
Multicolored sunrise is in display,
I slowly drift back into my dreams
As the darkness starts to fade away.
While humanity lies in bed,
I can’t seem to fall asleep;
I’d much prefer looking
Out the window instead.
The real view isn’t pretty
But if I look beyond the concrete
My whimsical mind can turn quite witty.
Clouds brushed by moonlight,
Underneath countless fields of
Untamed nature
Oh my what phenomenal a sight.
Barefoot and careless,
I embark to an imaginary journey,
Far away from the daytime stress.
Multicolored sunrise is in display,
I slowly drift back into my dreams
As the darkness starts to fade away.
