La femme ermite

La femme ermitte
She concealed her feelings
Her accustomed habit
All to protect her tenuous heart.

All those parapets ready to refuge
Aiming to catch her from falling
This is why she roams alone.

Whenever she is approached
She tells the man to go
She’ll forfeit him endless distress.

Deep down she craves
For soft whispers and caresses
But she will avoid it blindly.
