prohibited visions.

i'm well attained
to raging pretenses of your kind,
senses of doubt,
riveting dreams from my mind,
vacancy about my brain

I know,
you'd never believe in me now.

i got to thinking,
what fishes you count?
how many abide?
who awaits your arrival
on the other side?
accept your fate,
maybe i'll see you there
holding on till it's too late

you can chase your tale,
fall in love with regret,
get off on watching me fail,
yet the debt'll be on you.
i'll protect what i've found

'cos i know,
you'd never believe in me now.
