Psoriasis

Loose handling
she breaks like porcelain
noose dangling
straight from my poor ceiling

Where were you
when the cracks started to show
Aerial views
of my black heart on the snow+
angels without limbs are sideliners
We get on like a house on a wildfire
Dousing my good nature
now tame
A country bumpkin with a town name

+Goose chasing, she sent me
Handed, I came back empty
Full of nothing but promises
Frog kisses but no princes
Jubilee missing on this vacant throne
OVER ME, SHE HAS A SACRED HOLD
Writing her my tainted prose

Casket closed,
the final nail to her painted toes
