if the world is dark

If the world is dark,
Like you say it is,
How could I find,
Any beauty in this?

If there is only evil,
No good in sight,
How do you explain love,
And how it feels so right?

From what I have seen,
There is one thing I know,
For something to shine,
You must allow it to glow.

If ever in life,
You are afraid,
Take a chance,
Thats how memories are made.

True there may be,
Some evil in this world,
But all of that fades,
When in your arms someone special is curled.

This world is full of beauty,
Sometimes it isn't obvious,
You don't have to look far,
Its inside all of us.
