I Dreamt A Dream Of You

 
I dreamt a dream of you
just this past night.
You did nothing but stare
at me and expose my fright.
In the dream, you wore a shirt of White;
The colour that represents purity and innocence-
Not Destruction or Terror, that which is your existence.
Every dream I dream of you is the same:
It is just us, and all you do is stare at me
As if you are trying to tell me something-
Something I should know.
This dream of you, as should know, brings pain
to the very existence of my shattered soul.
But as the dream began to fade, and you disintigrated from my sight,
I dreamt of another, who brings me safety and light.
No matter how dark the night.
