The Usefulness of  Children

You were so nice to her at the start
All her life she had waited for you
she had always yearned for someone like you
someone to spend lonely nights with
someone to share her life with
you filled her with compassion and warm feelings
for the first time in her life she had hope
A hope that she had a chance at happyness and everlasting affection
but your love was like an infection
it pulled her in and never let go

Batered
she knew there was something different about you
Its why she fell for you
you had a sence of danger around you
like a forbidden fruit
the warnings just made her more enthralled
but she learned that being with you is as easy
as breathing in a world without oxygen

Betrothed, berated and batered
was there ever even a reason why
all she ever did was love you
but was it enough
no never enough
always more
then to far
but its okay
you can always have another
children are easy to make

See I forgive you
I know its not your fault
you have been under a lot of stress lately
really your just a big animal
cute and cuddly
but when I dont feed you enough
or love you enough
then you get hungry
its okay you can use me
I will always be here for you
cause I know that one day
we are going to get through this
one day
one day you will love me again
and maybe
maybe I will be enough for you
you will care for me again
and we can be happy again
just like we used to be
right?
