From the mirrored radiance

Casting clarity of spirit from its expressions

On days the suns rays pique quiet moments of illumination

Clouds of gray may approach with aim

To taint or tamper

That very reflection

From time to time

Winds of change rearrange directions

Grasping reality as it is shuffled into confusion

Or merely in disarray

Cast off the lies

Receive the calmness that dusk or another dawn will bring

As moment to moment

Life moves around us

We breathe and wander

Cling to find our balance

Reaching out to clutch the hand

That will never let go

Our hearts beat the same rhythms

Heels digging in the dirt

Breathe deep and stand steadfast with me
