The Sun
You are the poet
i am the sun
your screaming of the insanity of the pen you wield
my reflections causing perplex-ions on the dimples of your brain
you are the poet, ranting and raving
i am the sun, giving a sonnet a title with my blaze
pacing and racing, dealing with the madness
impregnate a culture with a way of life, while i create ideas for the masses with a twist of my wrist
you think of me in a physical format and already you have lost me in your mind
cold and endearing i bring it to them faster than you write these lines
sun in a light but dark in the past
a play on words while i beat your raw
asterisks sashaying out these lines
unbeknownst to you and you still reading
this poem stopped when you blinked
so be the poet
and I'll be an ideal brighter than your mind will cradle
