Lost
So many things
I wish I could say
You were lying
When you said you would stay
I cannot believe myself
For trusting you
I was just another book on your shelf
Our love was never true
I didn;t know I could be this sad
But can I stand without leaning on you
AS I think of the past
I begin to cry
It went by so fast
At first I was shy
Then i had sprouted
Like a blooming orchid
But you left me to die
In the heat that was so horrid
I lost my faith
I lost my color
But I cannot hate
Those who chose not to hover
Without you I cannot stand
For I am lost without a helping hand
I wish I could say
You were lying
When you said you would stay
I cannot believe myself
For trusting you
I was just another book on your shelf
Our love was never true
I didn;t know I could be this sad
But can I stand without leaning on you
AS I think of the past
I begin to cry
It went by so fast
At first I was shy
Then i had sprouted
Like a blooming orchid
But you left me to die
In the heat that was so horrid
I lost my faith
I lost my color
But I cannot hate
Those who chose not to hover
Without you I cannot stand
For I am lost without a helping hand
