You Scare Me.☹

           I see you there, hiding in the corner of my eye. If I try to look at you directly, you disappear. Back to the corner of my eye. I've never looked at you enough to know what you look like.
          One day, I'm going to look at you. And finally know what you look like. But for now, the thought of you is torturous. You're a coward you know, "Just show yourself! You... THING!!!" I say to myself, and slightly to you, as I start to lose sanity.
          Now, after years of horrible memories and thoughts, I know what you look like. You are handsome, kind. You are my best friend.
         And after years of perfect love, I wake to find, I've married a DEMON
