Encroachment of Man
Encroachment of man
Slapping Mother Nature’s hand
Little fawn wanted nothing more than to eat
We needed a road so it couldn’t be
Unfortunate slaughter
There was no need
Ignorance, corruption, and deception
All part of the same family
Last name greed
Taking, not earning the right
Killing tree after tree after tree
Man takes what he wants not just what he needs
Without regard for any other being
When will it end?
When there is no more my friend
This is not the end
I’ll be part of the fight
Even with no end in sight
She needs us to win
She always provides
Let us not give in
She cries at night
What a sorry plight
Only take what we need
Not for wealth or stance
Please give Mother Nature a chance
Stand tall for what you know is right
Lead with your heart
She needs you too
Join me in this fight!
