Rainbow Of Poison
Clouds of acid burn my skin with raindrops Eyes full of hatred stare at me as I walk I’m offered temporary relief so I take my chances I know my limits so I don’t have to worry about Doing those weird little dances I open up a bathroom drawer grab a couple of razor blades Then slit my wrists aggressively as I slowly cried out in pain I let the blood run It brought a smile to my face It reminded me of black rain The warmth of it on my skin I started to embrace I can hear the pounding of crimson hearts As they fall before my eyes Like dishes hitting the floor In my eyes it’s no surprise I’m surrounded by a circle of lies And I can’t break free I can feel their dirty hands gripping around my neck To try and choke me Tell me when they throw me off the cliff Who’s gonna catch me? My face starts to turn purple As my blood continues to escape I press a gauze up against my arm So that I won’t suffocate It has finally stopped raining As I look up in the sky I see a rainbow full of poison It matches my life perfectly and I wonder why
