No more than a memory

I went downstairs to get some tea
And felt like someone was watching me
Then all of the sudden I could hear
A song that sent me into true fear
I could hear the sound of feet
As well as at that point my own heartbeat
He said don't move or you'll die
I said I'll do whatever you want just leave the rest of my family be
He said he was hoping that's what I'd say
I'm going to take you far away
Now find a pen and a piece of paper
They will after all wake up later
Write that you will be okay
But something came up and you had to get away
Don't try anything smart or your familys dead
All that would be left of them your pretty head
No one else would survive
They would never again be alive
I came here for you and you alone
Now get in the back of the van outside
Don't worry I'll steal your little pills
I won't touch your family I swear
I never came here to their knowledge and I'll keep it that way
Your family will never find you even when they look
You'll disappear like someone in a book
I've got you now
You can't imagine the horror I can bestow
Oh don't worry if you're good
You'll be treated better than you should
You can be mine
Til the end of time
Or you can die
No more than a memory
I wanted my fate to be mine
So I got away
But we were to far away
So I died
No more than a memory
But I died me
And for that moment I was free
Dead
But free
No more than a memory
