Obsessive Rapture

Stalking a dismal path under a hypnotic moon
Observant eyes become transparent, hollow
Wretched thoughts decay dry, foul kisses
Scandalous nightmares stimulate demonic desires.

Decomposing fulfilment within a hollow shell
Empathy drowns upon songs of delusion
Calling asunder the mind of free birth
Asphyxiating thoughts wander to naught.

Forbidden chaos cries within heated fingernails
Scorching our sorrow In a broken violin tune
Vodka laced with Ritalin becomes a midnight snack
As a rigor mortis memory breathes In silence.

Benevolence burnt with a kiss of betrayal
Vigorously entangled in a daylight nightmare
Succumbed to violence, a pretentious lie
Bestowed within a paradox of innocent tears.

Handprint markings blotched In ruby disguise
Unorthodox embraces scarred with tainted visions
Masquerading fear, as a magenta sky revels secrets
Chained forever, as our lobotomized minds scatter for truth.

Labyrinth of excuses and concealed marble doubt
A muse of tranquillity deafened with demons
Isolated within an eccentric dream awakened
Where a body of poison feeds the earth.
