What resides
Creation
Creation’s storehouse forged me with ingredients of the Makers choosing.
A bit of pain and heartache
Love and happiness
Confusion, delusion
Understanding and sympathy
Heartlessness and cruelty
Joy and peace
Grief and war
Good and evil in equal share.
Mixed well to form a thick a concoction of bone and marrow flesh and spirit;
shaped into the human form.
Last to breathe the breath of life.
Now ready to be birth from the Motherland.
correction
Little Bill reach for the fire.
His mother slapped his hand.
Little Bill pulled the cat’s tail.
The cat scratched him.
Little Bill bit his sister.
She bit him back.
Little Bill hit his sister.
She hit him back.
Little Bill kissed his mother.
She kissed him back.
Little Bill went to his room and thought about his day.
Good and evil lurks inside but which will I chose to obey?
Spare the rod and spoil the child
Definition
I’m no ones saint and no ones sinner.
I seek my evil I seek my good.
I’m hated of some and loved by too many.
My words are tainted, my thoughts are pure.
My heart is fleeting, my spirit eternal.
I’m nothing special nothing new, just another person seeking the Light anew
Destruction
It vexes me this thing called life.
It rips at my flesh
Tears me down, strip me of my pride.
Robs me of my well; it destroys my very being.
I’m nothing, but Deity’s toy to be played with like a child.
My dignity for not, my hopes dashed.
In its cruel hands where goodness and malevolence resides together so easily;
it chooses to destroy me.
Observation
A bird watches me from a tree.
I wonder what his beady eyes see, as he stares at me.
Does he see what lies inside; the creatures dwelling in the shadows, the ones shinning in the light?
How can he comprehend the eternal battle between evil and good that’s ever present in me?
Does he wonder which ones reflect in my eye now while I stare back at him in the pale moonlight?
