not this place
...but this me
where I stand...
...& sometimes slip...
constantly moving
through my unending evolution
it's a momentary station
a pause in the journey only

I both love & loathe it

wearing disappointment...
believing so few obstacles
have been conquered
{tunneled vision...}

beaming with pride...
at the realization
of how far I've actually progressed
{unearthed mirror of truth...}

I celebrate the victories
...all of them...
because I'm well aware
how hard I'll be on myself
...later...
...again
{ad nauseum}

it never ends
this push-pull state of being
but it keeps me going
& momentum is...after all...
...above & beyond...
...everything
