Lazy People Doing More For The Environment
Funny comment I saw on that one Office clip about the character who says if he got a million dollars, he'd gladly do nothing. I think that's how many people feel when working in an office. They know they're working until they're nearly die. They want the escape button.
There was a comment in this thread, I think, that said the lazy people are doing more for the world than the motivated people. And one person asked why. And another answered with this (I'm paraphrasing): "Think about it. The motivated people are tearing down entire ecosystems to build shopping malls, and the lazy people are less likely to fuck up the environment."
Damn, that was one of the most interesting things I've ever heard someone say. But damn, it's a fact. How true that is.
But like I've said, who can really save the environment anyway. By default, we are forced to not care about it that much. I'm sure there's things we do, of course. But driving cars? Using gas? Building stores and shopping malls? Not so environmental friendly.
I probably think way too much on the moral implications of everything. Bad flaw, I know. It's an INFP, "too altruistic" thing. Although there are too many times I'll gladly put myself first and not give a fuck. I'm stingy as hell while also being weirdly altruistic. I'd probably give a homeless person $1,000 just for the hell of it if I had the money. But as a person who is minimalistic and non-materialistic, that is not a big deal to me anyway.
This world does not matter to me. My Nintendo 64 console is broken now, and I could care less. There are things I deeply care about for artistic reasons and basic necessities, but other than that, I just don't care... I'm not a collector of toys or special items or anything. Seems like a waste of time.
I wanna go to a place where I didn't have to see buildings at all. Just pure nature.
Please give me pure nature.
I'm addicted to nature. It's been my biggest dream since 14.
