Elsewhere
My mind is elsewhere,
When I'm cuddled up with him,
My intentions, completely dishonest,
Picturing you whilst I do unspeakable things.
My body belongs elsewhere,
Matter of fact, right next to yours,
Baby, just hold me like you used to,
And I'll pretend I want no more.
My hand, in his, needs to be elsewhere,
Preferably, making you stutter,
I just want to be using it you,
But instead, merely a dark mutter.
The only woman to ever touch me,
The only one to ever return the favour,
You have been the only touch,
The only kiss I ever savoured.
My heart is elsewhere,
Whilst I lie about my love,
I nearly left him for you,
Comparing you to Angels above.
He lets me do whatever I like,
But for you, I'd have surrendered it all.
Please baby, be my everything,
Don't just let me fall.
