Things have changed
You don't find me funny anymore,
You're not there to dry my tears,
I'm not important to you now,
You've confirmed my worst fears.
When you're there, you're somewhere else.
Your mind is miles away,
You don't see my argument,
You don't see how things have changed.
Look at me when I'm talking to you,
At least pretend you can hear me,
Don't you dare act innocent,
Hello, I'm over here, can't you see?
Things are different now,
I can't help feeling I'm to blame,
I'm trying so hard to fool myself,
That things are still the same.
You're not there to dry my tears,
I'm not important to you now,
You've confirmed my worst fears.
When you're there, you're somewhere else.
Your mind is miles away,
You don't see my argument,
You don't see how things have changed.
Look at me when I'm talking to you,
At least pretend you can hear me,
Don't you dare act innocent,
Hello, I'm over here, can't you see?
Things are different now,
I can't help feeling I'm to blame,
I'm trying so hard to fool myself,
That things are still the same.
