Springtime Affirmation
Without a reason to
Yarrows will blossom
Regardless, its place is found
Burgeon and abound
And a reason to bloom stems
Destitute to yearn
Horsemints will prosper
Tight-knit, hand in hand, arise
United likewise
Grown together by design
Bereft and forlorn
Fireweeds will cluster
Moving on after distress
Pondering hopeless
Bold in ashes, it endures
Nature will move on
Springtime will flourish
Any plight whatsoever
Rise and endeavor
The world could use another

Inspired by local wildflowers and the approaching Spring season. It's possible to bloom in any circumstance you find yourself in! Still working on finding my "footing" when writing poetry, I think reading more will help expand my writing.
