STRANGE BUT OKAY

I
am never surprised
by the behavior of a
fellow passenger on a
flight or bus trip.
HOWEVER
on a recent trip I was
surprised at the unusual
behavior of the man sitting
in a seat next to me.
HE
was methodically, with energy,
sucking his thumb.
When he noticed I was watching
he said, "Sorry! I was just thinking
about meeting my boyfriend when
we land."
I
was somewhat setback, well, shocked.
It was "strange but okay."
