Eternal You
I stand here naked
alone
afraid
forlorn upon
life’s glistening blade.
Shadows loom near
old and new
restless all
beyond clear view.
My bleeding feet cry
plead for steps
seeking pulse of
true hearts breath.
My shaking hand
does reach for thee
throughout all storms
come dance with me.
For lifelong meaning:
two for two
well bathed in cleansing
eternal you.
