Her Café Glow

Her Café Glow

Beige chequers of her gingham skirt
Cloak gluteal plumage
With bare legatos
Emerging from hemlines
That can barely contain her silken secrets

With a plaited lock of hair
Gathered in the heavenly bouquet
Of her golden halo of curls
Whose love light shines in radiant petals
Of a maiden sunflower

Accented by lipstick art
Of her burgundy stained Arcadian smile
That blossoms like a winter rose
When she bends like a cattail in the wind
Memories of summer in her café glow
