The Flayed Hand Cometh
Winds sigh low
Whispers slither in the dust
Fires wane, embers choke
The flayed hand cometh
Sky turns grey
Sun bleeds thin behind the veil
Roots twist, drinking deep
The flayed hand cometh
Ash coats the tongue
Water blackens in the wells
Statues weep from hollow eyes
The flayed hand cometh
Walls split wide
Stone and bone collapse alike
Screams dissolve into the void
The flayed hand cometh
Veins run dry
Flesh peels back in offering
A name unspoken stirs awake
The flayed hand cometh
Light is gone
Only silence, only hunger
The last prayer dies unheard
The flayed hand cometh
Whispers slither in the dust
Fires wane, embers choke
The flayed hand cometh
Sky turns grey
Sun bleeds thin behind the veil
Roots twist, drinking deep
The flayed hand cometh
Ash coats the tongue
Water blackens in the wells
Statues weep from hollow eyes
The flayed hand cometh
Walls split wide
Stone and bone collapse alike
Screams dissolve into the void
The flayed hand cometh
Veins run dry
Flesh peels back in offering
A name unspoken stirs awake
The flayed hand cometh
Light is gone
Only silence, only hunger
The last prayer dies unheard
The flayed hand cometh
