All I am is Me

They keep saying I've got a problem with authority
I think the real problem is the whole world's boring me
It's too controlling always telling me what to do
I wanna look em in the eye and ask 'what are you?'
Those without confidence are shook by the question
So don't judge me when you look in my direction
Tell me, are you happy with what you're doing
Do you love your life and the passions you're pursuin?
If you don't then don't you dare tell me how to live
All I am is myself and that's what I'm proud to give
The way I see it, life is like a self-portrait
That'll come out hideous if you try and force it
Creative rights are a thing you can't afford to forfeit
Freedom such a pretty thing, nurture it and court it
Could easily reach the title of lawyer or doctor
But lying to yourself is the destroyer of honor
I don't want a job or a cold education
And that right there could ruin my whole reputation
Laugh at my choice, cause you're happy as a slave
Break your back for someone else till you hit the grave
But I can tell most people aren't living a lot
If you have a dream go out and give it a shot
