~of this elongating ever life… dotted in differential deltaic deaths
this young midnight’s chilling air
in a weirdly turning on groovy beat
mixing in your smoking touchy heat
-tastes a warm spice of musky mace
I crave for
a metallic blood flower rapturous
I bleed and bloom in a pleasantly~
pungent addictive blossom.. that
even this waiting nocturne animal
in your plunging deep purplish trysts..
pierces sharp unto this seductive
self digging hell in an unreturning
pathway spiral..
hitting red & black as sky~ high
cranial kicks..
this unbearably holding brittle head
of migraines & nightmarish visions
smothered in a nauseating driven
endless highways- scandalously
lined up with caterpillar containers
& with those untimely blinkering
dhabas as blackened glowworms
dieing into the pools of my anaemic
eyes .. closing yet unclosing .. in
aches of sleep sleep & just sleep
death. this sleepless
sleep

Dear Uma,
This is such a shimmering dark black write though it also made me think of how love devours one completely. It is almost as if we would trade anything to be loved. or reach this state, Be it in the flesh or omnipotent love.
Somehow this piece made me think back of a documentary about the Aghori. Anyways a very intense poem, greetings love and blessings, Rianne xox

Uma, your weaving of the sensual and death here made for a transcendental poem. What a brilliantly conceived poem in which the heat of passion explodes with death as a metaphor for the cresting of two bodies merging into one. Truly a magnificent creation you have put into words that smoke with desire. Loved this from start to finish in all its dark beauty.
