Last Rainbow

I am the rainbow after your storm
The sky is not of slate grey
It is darker, unrelenting, menacing
it summons the lightning
wicked in its invention

You see it
Before you hear the destruction
You feel it
Through the concrete construction

There's no time to run from the devastation
Boom!
Crack!
Pow!

What is left now?

The sun
Peaks its head out for fun
Illuminating the particles in the sky
Seeing all the colors way up high

Wish on me before I go
To find that pot of gold
At the end of my rainbow

You see, you’re too late
The pot of gold the government
Confiscate it
Back taxes that is what they claim
I hadn't said it

Was it my fault?
You caused the climate to change
I let out the grief and rage
On this world stage
And I still gave you a bow
A pretty, pretty rainbow

With a sigh, I will go
Show my ass at another
Part of the world show

When I appear, don’t be surprised
Take a moment and see
Open up your eyes

I may be the last rainbow you ever see
This is just me thinking
Stuff randomly. LoL.
