let us toast
toast to all the possible versions of ourselves
all in one but still only one

the ones who died
the ones we chose to ignore
the ones we let slip by

there is only us
the current
the now

in all the possibilities this is who we are
this is where we are
I chose this

my actions past defining my future

Is this the best one?
can the others help guide me
I pray and beg

cast in a world of feeling
