Treat Me Like You Know
Treat me like you know
that someday one of us will be gone
Don't let these stolen moments be our swansong
We have time on our hands
It hangs over our heads
Our fingers went beyond the sky
Now all we can ever limit is ourselves
Down to earth we shall return
or so our detractors wish
Upon your starlit gaze
my every doubt is rested
We'll put them all to bed then
And let the silent night read like a storybook
Right this instant I want your love
more than I could ever want you
Maybe instead of your touch
I could have some assurance
or the lie that I'll never again be alone...
or feel it
Treat me like your own
I want a breakable bond
Everything that eventually dies can only grow strong
We are only as temporary as our bliss
So treat me like only you know
that someday I'll be gone
And discard me for now
Hoping that we both have time on our hands
I'll have you know that it's hanging over my head
My fingers are in the sky
I may have limited myself
that someday one of us will be gone
Don't let these stolen moments be our swansong
We have time on our hands
It hangs over our heads
Our fingers went beyond the sky
Now all we can ever limit is ourselves
Down to earth we shall return
or so our detractors wish
Upon your starlit gaze
my every doubt is rested
We'll put them all to bed then
And let the silent night read like a storybook
Right this instant I want your love
more than I could ever want you
Maybe instead of your touch
I could have some assurance
or the lie that I'll never again be alone...
or feel it
Treat me like your own
I want a breakable bond
Everything that eventually dies can only grow strong
We are only as temporary as our bliss
So treat me like only you know
that someday I'll be gone
And discard me for now
Hoping that we both have time on our hands
I'll have you know that it's hanging over my head
My fingers are in the sky
I may have limited myself
