Letter To You

I am writing a letter today.
For a person I used to know by name.
I am writing to see if you are well.

I hope I find you happy,swell.
Let me write this letter in ink.
I'll stamp it and begin to think.

Maybe this letter will find you one day.
Years later,on a sunny day.
Maybe you will read my cursive and smile.

And remember our memories, that lasted a while.
I'm gonna add in cursive ink.
I'll stamp it in a blink.

I'll add in all my love and appreciation.
For our friendship,a whole another nation.
For you used to be my destination.

Before we separated away.
You used to be my inspiration.
We used to sit and eat sweets.

And we used to play hide and seek.
The years have passed.
So much time in just a blink.

We used to talk every single day.
You even visited my house one day.
Maybe one day, this letter will find you.

Happy,swell.
And I hope we manage to put the past behind.
And I hope I find you happy,swell.

Because I couldn't help but worry.
And time was in such a hurry.
Eventually,our memories will get blurry.

But I won't forget your name.
When our age used to be the same.
And the day you told me I am boring, lame.

It really hurt.
But I hope we meet again.
We don't know where, how or when.

Maybe we will reconnect with a smile.
Because it's really been a while.
I still remember your blonde hair.

And your green eyes.
With a ponytail,up in the skies.
Your light figure,bright skin.

When we were together,I'd forget all I've been.
Alas,we tried to reconnect on a screen.
But you slowly faded away.

I tried to reach you, wish you a happy birthday.
But you left me on read and went away.
I hope you keep smiling through.

Just like we used to do.
Kids grow into adults.
Lives,people change.

But I hope a smile we exchange.
My memories didn't change.
Even after we went far away.

I hoped to see your smile again someday.
