Softly Loved, Spiritually Venerated (Imani-Faith)

Imani (Faith) –On January 1st, the third and final green candle is lit. It symbolizes the principle of faith, encouraging individuals to believe in themselves, their community, and the possibility of a better future.  
 
Happy New Year To my Hebrew King and All my Royal Knights, we have crossed over unto another year. A new beginning, for you to forgive, uplift, inspire, continue your education, journey, or start a new project.  
 
This is the last day of my culture Kwanzaa celebration, we have been dipped, whipped, and have risen, succeeded, and (I) survive within the sovereign of French-Salvation, Creole-Spiritual Revelations, and Haitian-Incantations, the mystique within my lineage, we usual exchange wishes (gifts) we propose for each one of the women in my family.  
 
Then we are zooming in with my aunt in France, in my native dialect, that make me miss home, my father so older none, wow, a clear voice, so far away on a zoom screen, cherish time with family, friends if they are close enough for you to whisper.  
 
My sister has challenged me to continue my education at the PH. D level and advance my level, I have been stagnant for years, to get my blue belt in Karate, the jury still out that feat, however, I am still preparing my dissertation, just in case, my novels are due to be released. Along with the current one, readers have been peaking, and this is only the first draft, and any novelist knows before, any perfection of any artist’s work must meet the approval before, their mental expression is bestowed to others. This is the easy part of the wrting process, the fills are the tedious part, the research, the language.  
 
This is how a novel unravels one page at a time, when the author is free styling, softly flowing, I am excited just to see how far I can dance with this poetic romance, this beautiful untold fable.  
 
I will be incorporating more medical concerns I think you should be kept abreast of topic or concerns that may arise in thinking, from young adulthood, adulthood, to geriatric care, if you look at the aging process of each stage of life, from the being, we held, cradled by our parents, then as time has seen them into their golden years, we are now holding them, cradling them with the forgotten time of their care.  
 
My grann, always told me, ‘a parent is a child twice’ therefore, cherish the time with self, and in my line of profession, that has always been a luxury for me.  
 
Ladies, please make sure you check your breasts for the month, of January 2025. I did have the honor to have a mammogram to understand the steps. I will post that at a later date, and I have the picture of that machine smashing my breast like a pancake, and then you are holding on a bar, and the radiologist technician is just manipulation your first breast, pushing you closer to the machine for a proper hold, then you have to inhale, she then disappeared behind some wall and took some pictures, then she repeated her steps with the other breast, I could have sworn, she smashed my other poor booby even flatter, wait until you see this machine, then you will understand what I am talking about.  
 
I have been advising you ladies to get a mammogram, every month, and I am in the Medical and now Mental Health profession, so sometimes you have do some investigative research, yes, you guessed, a mammogram…oh,, goodness, I still hold my breasts in memory, and I am the kind of woman, who can tolerate life as it is bestowed, it’s my Father’s French European resilience characteristics and my beloved Haitian Creole mother’s, always strive to achieve genes, a very nice balanced created daughter from the spiritual aspect of that wedded union, and consecrated by my grann, in her West African tradition to be returned unto the constellations, in my infancy, held up to the sky, under the oath of Allah’s word, covet by His grace, that is our tradition for the infant girls, our upbringing, is taught to place upon the mind when we speak on our ability to have faith, when events are happening in our life, when occurrences seem to be in disarray, it best to have fate, and allow destiny to deal when hope becomes sight unseen, you must have faith to will it to become evident.  
 
I almost revived that sacred oath, that vowels from Allah, that keeps me shining and gleaning and always to keep it pushing in my stilettos at best.  
 
I am trying to make this preventative memory, as pleasant as possible, in addition, there were two views, the right breast and the left breast, I thought my Pap Smears were uncomfortable, when my gynecologist uses that cytology brush, to collect cervical cells to rule out cervical cancer or dysplasia, but I suggest, in order to see the breast tissue, be prepared, your breast is getting smashed, then be advised, I went on one of those Mammogram Vans in another state, it was during my traveling blog.  
 
I would suggest not to go when you are on your period the breast tissue is more prone to breast tenderness, or cysts, no Aunt Flow was in town, excuse me for straying off, however, Allah, always, seem to place my intellect, my person, or my spiritual good deeds, where I am needed, when I am needed, he truly does, and I will always be in favor, but blogging and getting a mammogram, ladies, I took one for the team, it does not hurt to get a mammary deep tissue mammogram, let me clarify, it is not the fact or the position your breast is aligned on the machine’s plastic platform, ladies, we must accept the fact those are life-saving pictures, yet, I will always understand any woman of age who have gotten a yearly mammogram, or will schedule one, thank you.  
 
Ladies, it’s worth it, now that I know, and I stood in the shadow of all the women who had this test done, and hopefully, by the grace of the almighty, when they get that return card in the mail you addressed to yourself, once you open that flap, it is negative and the writing enclosed is telling your to return next year for your yearly exam.  
 
I was given a $10 Kroger gift card, it came in handy for the car rental fill up prior to returning it to Enterprise, before boarding your flight.  
 
I was on the plane like, I just got a mammogram, smiling to myself, feeling good on the inside, like I have just won the lottery, until I really sat, and thought of all the others, who have not, the ladies, I need to reach, remind.  
 
You do and you have to fill out a return address card for them to send your results, mine were negative.  
 
It saddens me, that some woman who have or who will be newly diagnosed, thank some physician, or just by them doing a bi-later, self-mammogram, they were at that moment, going through the process, of disrobing from the neck up, given a paper gown, then escorted to a small room, adjacent from the changing room, you see this machine, from floor to ceiling, and a tilted upraised table, it’s not quite a table, a platform, subsequently, your breast will be raised and settled on this flat platform, a time machine to your fortune, as in, were you too late after you felt a lump in your breast, would you be told, your results were abnormal, meaning, you have to get a diagnostic mammogram, which cannot be given on a Mammogram Van, it must be scheduled through Outpatient Radiology with a referral by a physician, and the great news about technology, your results from previous years can be compared to your newest results.  
 
This was my first mammogram, and I am not quite at that age group, however, my Health Insurance pay for preventive care exams; Annual Wellness Exam, Pap Smear, Mammogram, and Colonoscopy), Those are your preventive measures to maintain a healthy you, and I do not have to pay my co-pay.  
 
Make sure you take care of your skin, please stay hydrated, and as I would suggest, make sure you rub your moisturizer into your skin, while it is partially wet, I always, take goat milk baths, my skin is always soft to the touch, smooth, radiant, and youthfulness, I had to credit that with my vegan, and get up and just got jet-set and traveling lifestyle.  
 
Make sure during the winter months you drink all the water you can drink; you can naturally detox your temple. Spiritual Fast and Pray, foremost, the first week of a New Beginning Year, I relish a liquid diet, which consists of Lemon Water, or Green Tea.  
 
Look at the Winter Solstice as a time to heal your mind, cleanse and repair your temple, find comforting agendas to attend, and games to distress your psyche.  
 
I council several people who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, I will elaborate on that once I post my medical journal(s) with that machine that assaulted by soft breasts, it made me feel slightly uncomfortable I had to allow another woman touching my breasts, thank goodness her palm was so warm, then she placed my hand on this bar you have to hold during the time your breast is mashed before she can begin taking those life-saving pictures, your chin have to be positioned and held steady, while she was twisting that smasher down, then she advised me to inhale while she clicked the picture, the entire mammogram, I would say, takes about thirty minutes, from the time you step up into the Mammogram Van, given a slate board to fill out a quick health questionnaire, then once completed, you are sitting on an elongated couch waiting to be called.  
 
In the meantime, the woman who registered you, are making copies of your ID and Insurance Card, then you are given a paper gown, and some hand sanitary wipes, to remove any deodorant, body oils, or perfume, no jewelry can be worn.  
 
Then once again, once you come out, you are in the room to take care of your temple one preventive test at a time, rather you are scheduled or simply a walk-in, you made the first steps in being proactive about your health, now you are ready for a mammogram.  

Take care of yourself, and if you happen to come under the submission of that mammogram, machine, tell it, SKC sent you and be to gentle with you.
