Insatiable Desire

Broken place.
Invaded space.
By insatiable desire.
Could it be we are scouring
the wrong world?
The wrong dimension?
For the things that never get a mention.
A hundred tiny moments decoded.
Where some passion had eroded.
A place outside of the body's walls.
But still inside of ticking time enthralls.
Desire, all we have when we don't have ourselves.
Kaleidoscoping odysseys to be taken.
What we need are already seeds of joy in the heart.
Plump buds of gratitude.
Small acts of magnitude.
