Image for the poem a Grimoire

a Grimoire 's art

my love is bronze sky
interlacing garlands being drawn
canvassing
this pain(t) is old

amidst vetiver hung low
veil fluttering patchouli
brittle bone brittle heart
jargon blushing brushing
I walk with Sappho

she whispers as her
proclaiming fingers hold
our fountain pens move
a name is given

ripe fruit rests
vessels
torch
torc

from spiral cord
sinks a voice
lulling tongues
undressing
embarrassment
embracing
awakening state
Frida smiles
her burning bed
shaken by
speed of light

l  i  f  t  e  d

holding Vincents left ear
under Prussian blue
sharp stems sun flower
bestowed once
in the garden of Etten
chasms outgrown

abysmal destinies
collide again
collecting oysters

how caressive
frailty scents
sanded within
solaced
sentiments
