Unsolicited Observations

You know the biggest problem with our leaders and the wealthy? They are unable to relate to anything outside their pampered little bubble. They don’t grocery shop, they don’t do everyday things, they have no need to worry about everyday problems. Hell, some of them don’t even worry about their children.

They got nannies, yes men, chefs, maids, butlers, lawyers, accountants, and a staff that handles all their needs. All so they can focus on figuring out better ways to fuck people over, for more power, more control, and to be corporate overlords to the working class.

To quote the late great, George Carlin: “They don’t give a fuck about you or your family.” The sooner everyone realizes that, the sooner we can really talk about how to address the problems in our world. Obviously, I know that comes off as a blanket statement.

Blanket statements are terrible examples of the truth. Being here on DU has shown me their are a lot of creative people paying attention to these crucial details. Which gives me some hope in humanity.

Carlin, is the one of the only comedians/philosophers that as I get older the more I see the bigger picture he was painting. He understood layers, everything is based in layers. Everything has a hierarchy, there has always been a pecking order. A ruling class.

I’m always ranting to you guys. I vent my frustrations, and you all read it. I’m grateful that you help me keep my grip on reality. From the bottom of my heart, I’m thankful for this creative family.

This is how my mind works, everything is a puzzle. If I know the trick, if I know the con, then I can’t be taken advantage of, right? Not everyone is that extreme in their critical thinking.

Except, I sometimes am an over-critical thinker, I’m addicted to merry-go-rounds and rabbit-holes. Because it makes me examine not only the world, but myself. It gives some hopeful possibilities.

If I can’t make a better me, how can I help solve a problem. Especially, If I don’t see that sometimes I’m part of that problem. Which is theoretically possible, since none of us are right all the time. Human’s are not infallible.

There is one thing the wealthy do well, they’re organized. Their population is small, yet they always have a united front. It’s because they share a fundamental belief, all that is relevant is power and wealth. Because that’s how you control, that’s how they rule.

It’s difficult to have morals when they can bend the rules, influence new laws, and simply buy the future and the world they want.

Don’t get me wrong they fuck each other over as well, but then they move forward. Because there are rules inside their organization. And they work, so they’re not going to abandon something that continues to work.

Divide and Conquer is their playbook, and other than adding a wrinkle here and there, it remains a winning formula. When a problem arises they all have a united talking point, and some group of people to throw under the bus. Then through projection a common narrative is weaved.

Sadly, when the rest of the people unite against them, it’s a complete cluster-fuck. Why? I think it’s because we lack a common narrative. Once we get past agreeing on, higher wages, better health care, etc. We’re a little tired since it's off our back that this world functions.

It also more importantly shows we have no party supporting us. Fighting for us, or even attempting to level the playing field. The people we elect abandon us the minute they’re paid to look the other way.

There are always some exceptions to the rule, hidden in the fray, and tucked in some small corner of the group. But a lot that started out fighting for us are tempted away.

That’s my opinion anyways, it’s not the gospel. I’m a simple poet, I don’t have all the answers. But I sometimes share some unsolicited observations. Peace, Love, and Lennon.
