The Road Between Us
The road winds dark, the night stretched wide,
The moon half-lit, a secret to hide.
Its glow spills faint, a silver trace,
Highlighting tension they dared not face.
He drives with ease, long fingers tight,
Dreadlocks swaying in pale moonlight.
That scent of his—spice, musk, and air—
Wraps around her, pulls her unaware.
She sits upright, her badge a shield,
Yet her thoughts betray what her heart conceals.
Thick thighs shift, her breath runs thin,
She fights the storm that stirs within.
Ahead, the road comes to a halt,
A dead end framed in asphalt.
He slows the car, the engine sighs,
The world grows still under velvet skies.
Silence lingers; the moment swells,
Unspoken truths their gaze compels.
They step from the car, their footsteps light,
Two shadows meeting under fractured night.
The cool air whispers, the moon takes heed,
Each heart responding to the other’s need.
His eyes find hers, a magnetic pull,
A dance of longing, raw and full.
Time slips away as bodies engage,
A fevered dance, a primal stage.
The air is thick, the world is hot,
Each moment deepens, this love they’ve sought.
His grip is strong, hands hold her tight,
A pulse that shivers, ignites the night.
Her neck, her body, marked with heat,
As tangled limbs in silence meet.
His legs shake from the weight of desire,
A simmering storm, a growing fire.
Every inch of her, every breath they share,
Sparks fly, they both give in to care.
Hours fade as passion blooms,
Their sweat a testament to sealed rooms.
The road forgotten, the stars are dim,
Lost in the pull of this fervent hymn.
At last, they part, their bodies spent,
A blissful end, a heart’s consent.
He reaches for her, his hand now near,
Their fingers touch, no words, no fear.
In the car, the road stretched wide,
She rests her hand, no longer shy.
His thumb brushes hers, soft and slow,
As they head home, the night aglow.
He looks at her, his thoughts are clear,
"I’m not leaving; you’re mine, my dear."
She meets his gaze, a quiet plea,
"Don’t walk away, please stay with me."
The road hums beneath their feet,
A promise made, no words to speak.
Hand in hand, they drive on through,
A love unspoken, but deeply true.
The moon half-lit, a secret to hide.
Its glow spills faint, a silver trace,
Highlighting tension they dared not face.
