bloom
the day cry for unintended villianry
she was contempt in her stead
intent on bringing revenge
insulted silence couldn't be calmed
resist the dawn and all will be well
nay remarked the day
she was bent on vengeance
blood will be spilt before midnight
a young bride was in her sights
contemptable reckoning the fairest in the kingdom
the day marked her well
conjuring a storm to chase her from the garden
into the hedge maze wrought with thorns
soon she was lost
the brambles warn, fair maiden your blood is sought
a high bounty on your head
the castle was all a flutter over the missing princess
the day grin inside herself watching things transpire
the maidens grief was felt
then a knight rode into the maze with a vow
he would slay the hedge and take on the day that cursed
the thorns advanced
and the maiden feared
the knight charged the day of larceny over love
challenging her right for blood
the badlands retract
the garden bloom red roses
the day enamored by his passion
the afternoon smiled within herself
with the knowledge love still existed
she would protect and groom this love
and by midnight they were married
