He’s experienced more than I can imagine
He knew Butkowski
He’s had a life I can only imagine
Not glamorous by any means
But he lived

He’s an excellent poet
And interesting as all get out
Sometimes mistakes make the man

We’ve had profound discussions
It’s been a while since he and I have talked
I miss him
My eighty year old friend
