More Scrawl on the Toilet wall.

Arriving on time
At 10.29
Come on, stand up tall
Please admire the fascinating scrawl
Someone’s made the effort
You may say so what?
Perhaps your perspective could change
If your clothing, I would rearrange

We could delve deeply
Despite the surroundings being a little bit creepy
Write a number, a name  or even a request
Hold on tight, I’ll give it my best
Then later, when the stink of bleach overpowers
I might shell out for a nice bunch of flowers

Just a small token
After all, it was your will that was broken
We can soon go our separate ways
Put this down as one of those days
In the evening, back at home
You can relax, ready with your phone
I’ll be waiting, hoping you’ll call
If not I’ll continue to stare at this meaningless scrawl
…. And play here within this cubicle
Rubbing continuously the left and right testicle

Author's Note
Following on from my previous poem and a recent visit to a public toilet …. I was inspired by some of the messages that people had left in a cubicle.
