Dark / black knights was the first thing I thought and when your piece unraveled and I saw the author's note I realized it's four poets.
What a beautiful hommage to the poets who influenced you and made an impact. I'm in awe.

this made me think of Milton's poem paraidise lost and how he starts out talking about hell then later pledges he will write for the light hence forth I was kind of afraid I influenced you being how dark I wrote back then I don't think I can be like Milton but I try... this is some intriguing writing and your poetics are on point always,.. these friends of yours sound like cool guys ❤️
