Better or worse

People think about others
That's just a fact
But they do it in two different ways
Some people compare themselves to their supposed superiors
Those who they believe are better than them
Others prefer to ignore that
And focus on those who are worse, inferior
Is it a cruel trick or fate that we all live this way?
Or is it simply the common flaw of humanity?
Perhaps comparison is simply our truth
