...No One Can Understand, When Not Even I Can??
They know some
But they don't know all
They don't know that i can just barely crawl
I am on my knees
Begging for someone to understand
But I can't expect them to,
when not even I can
Confusion is life
a balance beam
is what its like
But recently my beam has slipped
Almost all the way over it had tipped
I almost made a bad decision today
A bad decision with a boy, I will say
I thought having sex
would make me less afraid
of the men I can't even walk past on the street
I don't know why, I think they're all creeps
I think it would be easier to just accept defeat.
But they won't let me.

They are not all creeps, it just takes time to figure out who the real creeps are and who the pretenders are. And if you feel overlooked by the ones you want the most, look a little harder, those are the creapiest ones of all. It's the nice ones, like you, who like you get overlooked. That's when you learn the difference between ugliness and beauty, when you look at the ones you barely noticed bwere even there, and you realize that "they" are the ones who understand, who have walked in your shoes and felt what you feel. They say beauty is only skin deep, but they never mention that ugliness runs deepest of all. That's why it's so hard to see, hiding under a shiny surface of pretend. If the beam seems slippery, lrt rsch step be like the one you took today. You didn't fall and made a decision that has made others fall flaat on their back.
