Piece of Flesh
They diminish you, these ogles,
Looking past your inner pith,
Peeling away your rind.
You’re nothing
But a mere piece of flesh,
Your worth, unwanted—
Déshabillé,
Your core, discarded—
Insignificant.
Looking past your inner pith,
Peeling away your rind.
You’re nothing
But a mere piece of flesh,
Your worth, unwanted—
Déshabillé,
Your core, discarded—
Insignificant.
