I Never Knew (The Cocktail Poem)

Leaving the wife tucked up in bed
Googling sites, reviewers said
Want to party through the night
Anything goes, here's your invite

Masked beauties in leather n' lace
BLOODY MARY, I spotted a face
I gave her an add, my Insta page
We drank all night, danced on stage

Gazing at the TEQUILA SUNRISE
PINA COLADA, eyes were disguised
Beautiful, sexy, full of mystique
I got her a cab "I'll see ya next week"

Back home, an ANGEL FACE
A glass... mask, leather n' lace?
I crept into bed, I never knew
"Well darling... I like them too!"

Author's Note
This is a follow-up to one I did the other month, whilst studying to become a nurse, I worked part-time at a cocktail bar and for those who don't know, they are the names of drinks in capital letters 🙃
