Shifting Courses
The riverside was my home
and I went there every morning,
a secure feeling along the banks
so for more, I kept yearning.
Alas! It changed its course,
with it went the rocks and twigs,
my home was left just a house,
What now do I do with your gifts?
and I went there every morning,
a secure feeling along the banks
so for more, I kept yearning.
Alas! It changed its course,
with it went the rocks and twigs,
my home was left just a house,
What now do I do with your gifts?
