“Illusions of the Damned“

Love, designed for deception.
Luring to capture more than your heart;
With a personality and looks to kill.
A wicked position from the start.
Brother did his homework;
Capitalized on family drama,
Spinning a web of tricks to follow.
They won’t know; call it Karma.
She’s Dressed in beauty,
Bathed in black.
Lips painted in poison.
A heartbeat, I cannot keep track.
An illusion of my mind;
I chose to ignore these signs.
Lack of trust and a broken heart invested;
Anguish, torment, a change of the times.
Fear and terror, Gods guidance given;
Faith questioned, twisted lessons learned.
Buried insurance, secrets among sand.
Mental images distorted, memories burnt.
Torment and travesty unhidden;
The final silent trumpets sound.
Sin revealed, found naked and ashamed.
Kings of the East carry their crown.
Gods Love commands comfort;
Found taunted instead.
Watched from up high;
Running horses painted red.
What’s hidden from one
Casts a shadow to all;
Humanity found deceiving;
Like talking to a wall.
The great prostitute plays her part;
Commanded by the Beast she Rides upon.
The messenger consumed in lust;
His warning seen as a con.
Out of the desert,
They follow the trail of dust.
Hanging upon every lie; they play for points.
Greed and capitalism, they feed the lust.
Projections of painted pictures,
Fueled by false belief.
Temptations laid upon the path;
Snares of condemnation replace relief.
Humble prophet destined for destruction,
Carried within his heart: Gods Love.
The seer has already seen;
Following his Path from Above.
False miracles induced,
Blasphemous seeds planted.
Giving birth to the dragon;
10 horns and eyes slanted.
A human heart and Gods Love:
Mistaken for dirt, Discarded as worthless.
A message otherwise mocked;
Fulfilled the purpose.
